We are Beni and Alina Obrete. God has called us to plant a biblical, pastoral, and evangelistic church for all people in Roquetas de Mar, Spain.

There is a great need for a healthy church plant in this area. Within a radius of about 50 kilometers, there are three cities with a combined population of nearly 400,000 people, and the city where we are planting is located in the center of this region. The percentage of evangelical believers is approximately 0.8%, and there are very few churches. Also, in the southern region of Spain (Andalucía) where we will be planting the church, there are 53 towns with more than 5,000 inhabitants that have no evangelical presence. The need is great!

Many Spanish churches are doctrinally shallow, and faithful pastoral care is often lacking. At the same time, many Romanian churches tend to be very conservative and legalistic, with an authoritarian style of leadership. There is a great need for a church that is centered on the Gospel, that has a real burden for the lost, that faithfully preaches God's Word, and that lovingly shepherds believers.

By God's grace, I have been equipped for preaching and pastoral ministry through a Master's degree in Pastoral Theology from Seminario Reformado Latinoamericano and a church planting internship at Deo Gloria Church in Cluj, Romania (Great Commission Collective network).

I have also served as a Pastor Resident at Deo Gloria Cluj, where I preached God's Word and helped equip small group leaders, worship leaders, and young adults for ministry.

Our passion in Roquetas is to seek the lost, equip the found, and send the equipped into ministry. All for the glory of God.
