My name is Buddy Bahun.  I have been serving full time in Namibia, Africa since January of 2006 to present.  I am married and we have four children.  We live in the capital city of Namibia, Windhoek.  I came to Namibia serving with an organization in Okahandja when I felt the call to Pastoral Ministry, and was given an opportunity to do a pastoral internship with a local church here in Windhoek.  After serving in that church for about three and a half years, I was called to join two other Pastors at Grace Reformed Baptist Church here in Windhoek where I am still currently serving as one of three Elders.

Our ministry and focus here in Namibia is to come alongside and strengthen the local church.  Over the years we have seen many opportunities to not only strengthen GRBC but also many churches around Namibia.  We have been able to see both Biblical counseling training and expositional training being done over the last 10 years.  This has not only brought growth for our church, but many churches who attend these training.  We believe our role is to equip the local church for the work of ministry which will last beyond ourselves.  I serve as an Elder involved in both Preaching and Teaching as well as the counseling ministry.  Julia and I also serve in the youth ministry.  We have a heart for church planting in other areas of Namibia.  We currently have one church plant and another church under our oversight until they have a plurality of elders.  We also are looking at other areas that are in need of churches.  We love the local church!   I am also tasked with leading the Worship team and media team at the church.
